1. Acceptance of terms

By registering for or using Social Policy Checker at policychecker.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Social Policy Checker is an automated tool that analyses content (images, text, and videos) against social media community standards to identify potential policy violations, copyright issues, and viral potential. The service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Account registration

To use the service, you must register using a valid referral link and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account and password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Providing and maintaining accurate account information

One account per person. You may not share your account credentials with others.

4. Subscription and payment

Plans and pricing

We offer three subscription plans — Starter ($3.90/mo), Silver ($6.90/mo), and Gold ($9.90/mo) — with different daily usage limits. Prices are in USD and billed monthly.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the tool. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until that date. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Failed payments

If payment fails, you will receive a notification and a 3-day grace period to update your payment method. After the grace period, your access will be suspended until payment is received.

5. Refund Policy

3-day refund window

We offer a 3-day refund guarantee from the date of your first subscription payment. If you are not satisfied with the service for any reason, contact us within 3 days of subscribing and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

After the 3-day window

After the 3-day refund period has passed, we do not offer partial or pro-rated refunds for the current billing period. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time from within the tool — you will retain full access to all features until the end of your paid billing period.

Renewal payments

Monthly renewal charges are non-refundable once processed. To avoid being charged for another month, cancel your subscription before your renewal date. You can find your renewal date in your account settings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Social Policy Checker only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Use automated tools to exceed your plan's daily limits
• Share, resell, or sublicense your account access to others
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
• Use the service to facilitate spam, fraud, or harassment

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

7. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you submit for analysis. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process it through our AI pipeline for the purpose of delivering the analysis to you.

The Social Policy Checker platform, including its design, code, and AI prompts, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from it.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Social Policy Checker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI analysis results will be 100% accurate or complete
• Content that passes our check will not be removed by a social media platform
• Content that fails our check will necessarily be removed by a social media platform

You use the results as guidance only and make your own decisions about what to publish.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Policy Checker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before doing so except in cases of serious violations.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
